Families in Transition, Inc. is dedicated to providing transitional housing and developmental  

services to allow families to transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

 

 

FIT provides services to their families from a broad spectrum of resources. Homeless families or 

those on verge of homelessness have a laundry list of needs that one organization cannot fulfill.  

With the resources of other local charities and providers, FIT aids its families with family 

counseling, tutoring, food, job training, transportation, budgeting, legal and other counseling.  It

is the goal of FIT that their families leave their program with the tools necessary to not only 

obtain permanent housing but the skills to maintain their independence.
